The Cannock Karate Tournament was held on Sunday 7th May at the Cheslyn Haye Sports Centre in Cannock Staffordshire
Congratulations to Poppy Stewart who won Silver medal in Kata, Bella Holman won Gold in Kata, George Curly won silver in Kumite and Kata and Oliver White won gold in Kata. (students on the photo from left to right)

What is Wado Kai?

Wado Kai, means the ‘Way of Peace & Harmony”. Wado Kai is a standardised version of Wado Ryu founded in 1938 by Hironori Ohtsuka. It is one of the four major styles of Karate in Japan and remains one of the purest form of Karate-do.
